We know that leather is luxurious, that it brings character, texture and warmth into space; what isn’t always clear is how to incorporate it well into a space. Our professional designers bring knowledge of all things leather and design to help you solve this problem effortlessly. Two of our designers created projects that showcase how leather can be easily added to a space.
The Primary Suite is a place of relaxation and rejuvenation. Soft colours and contrasting textures create a sophisticated yet restful space. Mont Blanc leather on the Menlo Park Bed by American Leather is polished and sleek while the crocodile-stamped leather on the Thayer bench by Vanguard adds texture and interest. Combined with luxurious fabrics, leather adds another layer of elegance to this palette.
The aim of this project involved client-centered design for a smaller footprint. In this instance, typically described as “downsizing,” we focused on creating a calm and comfortable multi-use space for relaxing, watching TV and socializing while maintaining the design integrity of an open concept. The Keystone motion seating in the hand-picked Ellis Cypress leather is first-class when it comes to comfort, and the console provides added functionality for the small space. The accompanied Aston chair is an "unrecliner-recliner." This space is tied together with the hand-woven pure wool Salsa Swing rug and oil-rubbed bronze floor lamp.
